SHORT BIO

Malamatenia Panagiotou is a Teacher of English with many years of experience teaching at all levels of education of the private and public sector. She believes in the holistic approach to learning a foreign language with an emphasis on triggering the student’s internal motive to learn. She is also a lexicographer and has worked for the compilation of various general language and specialized dictionaries.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Malamatenia Panagiotou is an active researcher in the field of sensory linguistics, and sensory analysis of foods, especially interested in the measurement of consumer’s emotional responses to foods, aiming at understanding the connections between language, food, and emotion.
